Jewellery Care

Jewellery naturally changes with wear over time.
A little care will help maintain its colour, finish and shine for longer.

Brass

Our brass jewellery is finished with gold plating and a protective e-coating to help improve durability and resistance to everyday wear.

To keep your jewellery looking its best:

  • Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, lotions, cosmetics and household chemicals.

  • Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping.

  • After wearing, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth.

  • Store separately in a dry place to minimise scratches and exposure to moisture.

  • Avoid using abrasive polishing cloths or jewellery cleaners, as these may affect the plated finish.

The colour of plated jewellery may gradually change over time depending on wear, skin chemistry and exposure to moisture or chemicals.

Surgical Steel

Our surgical steel jewellery is made from 316/316L stainless steel, with selected gold pieces finished using PVD coating for added durability.

Surgical steel is highly resistant to water and tarnishing, making it suitable for everyday wear.

For the best long-term care:

  • Rinse with clean water after exposure to salt water, chlorine or sweat.

  • Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

  • Avoid strong chemicals, perfumes and cleaning products.

  • Store separately when not being worn to prevent scratching.

Although surgical steel is highly durable, caring for the surface will help maintain its finish for longer.

Sterling Silver

Our sterling silver jewellery is made from 925 sterling silver, with selected pieces finished with rhodium or gold plating.

Sterling silver may naturally tarnish over time when exposed to air, moisture, cosmetics and skin oils. This is a normal characteristic of genuine silver.

To care for your silver jewellery:

  • Keep away from perfume, lotions, chlorine and harsh chemicals.

  • Remove before swimming, showering or exercising.

  • Wipe gently with a soft jewellery cloth after wearing.

  • Store in a dry, closed jewellery pouch or box when not in use.

  • For unplated sterling silver, a silver polishing cloth can be used gently to restore shine.

  • For rhodium or gold-plated silver, avoid abrasive polishing products as they may wear down the plated surface.

Natural tarnishing of sterling silver can usually be cleaned and does not mean that the jewellery is defective.
